Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for management of the lead generation process and all aspects of developing the lead generation team. This front line leadership position requires exemplary communications skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects. The individual will have a high degree of customer facing interactions as well as being responsible for representing the internal sales organization, and creating processes and relationships which ensure the success of the lead generation function. A large percentage of time will be devoted to the hiring, training, and day to day management of lead generation (BDR) staff. This position reports to the Director of Inside Sales & Account Management and is located in Montego Bay.

Primary Responsibilities include:

1. Manage day to day activities of the Business Development Representative (BDR) team
2. Hire, Train, and evaluate all team members
3. Create and maintain necessary methods and metrics for employee evaluation and development
4. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed
5. Coach BDR team as needed
6. Assist in development and implementation of training
7. Drive team to achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual demo and appointment goals
8. Develop internal processes to provide higher production and increase quality of product demonstrations
9. Work internally with account executives, sales managers, and marketing to ensure proper quality and quantity of demonstrations
10. Work with sales and marketing to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans
11. Develop scripts
12. Meet the needs of and serve as a resource for all departments needing lead generation and support
13. Act as escalation resource for BDR issues and challenges and deal with personnel issues as needed
14. Help to develop each BDR to achieve success long term with company
15. Represent Director of Inside Sales & Account Management as needed

Required Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an inside sales position
2. A college degree is essential
3. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
4. Demonstrated leadership skills are a must; previous management of others is preferred
